NEW! Try searching for images at Netvue.com
Try using our new image search engine that has the same idea as Image Finder.
Program installed, but when you run it, it says "Unable to find mscoree.dll"
This has to do with Microsoft's .NET Framework installation. Please make sure you actually have .NET Framework installed by clicking on Start|Settings|Control Panel and double-clicking "Add or Remove Programs". If you don't find "Microsoft .NET Framework" anywhere in the list, then you need to download and install it from Microsoft's website.
What do the checkboxes in the details view signify?
The checkboxes which are "checked" indicate images that will appear in the slide show and images that will be saved when clicking the "Save Slide Show" button. Images are automatically checked when their traffic status is "Completed." You may choose to remove particular images from the slide show by "unchecking" a checked item or alternatively by clicking the "Remove" button when the image you wish to remove appears. A red X will be overlaid ontop of the image to indicate that it has been removed and will not appear again in the slide show. If you accidentally remove an image with the "Remove" button, you can click the "Undo" button to bring the last removed image back into the slide show. Image Finder will not allow you to "check" an image whose traffic status is not "Completed."
The not-so-obvious ways of maneuvering in Image Finder...
Keyboard Shorcuts:
| Alt-Enter | Toggle hiding the search and details views |
| Up/Down Arrow keys | Previous/Next Image in the slide show |
Mouse Shortcuts: (clicking on the image)
| Left-Click | Toggle slide show ON/OFF |
| Right-Click | Stop slide show and show previous image |
| Double-Click | Toggle hiding the search and details views |
If your mouse is equipped with a mousewheel you may use it to show previous/next image when the slide show is OFF or to adjust the slide show speed if the slide show is ON.
